The recent announcements from OpenAI and Claude around healthcare signal a growing intersection of AI innovation and patient privacy.
As more AI services enter the clinical space, the need for a secure, patient-centered gateway is becoming urgent. While these models don’t yet offer public healthcare-specific APIs, demand is clearly building.
In the meantime, existing APIs can be used to construct trust-preserving gateways that leverage AI without exposing personal health data — especially when combined with end-to-end encryption like Sub-Lex-2.
This is an early sketch of the direction I’m heading, and I’ll be sharing more soon on our website about how we’re approaching this challenge.
